Switched mode power supplies

St. Huth (Advisor: H. Zürneck)

Status: finished by PhD Thesis in 1997

High integration density of modern electric equipment requires compact power supply systems. Switched mode power supplies (SMPS) optimally meet those requirements at high power efficientcy. This work deals with concepts for digital control and protection. Focus is on parallel operation of digitally controlled SMPSs and on load distribution among them.
