Low-expenditure dynamic actuators for safety related applications

A. Krautstrunk (Advisor: P. Mutschler )

Status: finished

Safety related applications such as electromechanical brake or steering systems require highly reliable actuators providing high power and torque density. Several motor types are conceivable to realize such an actuator. The objective of this work is to choose and to assess the suitable motor type, the power circuit concept and the control algorithm and to realize a prototype actuator.
