Adeel Jamal received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, in 2014, and his M.Sc. in Power Engineering from the Technical University of Munich in 2018. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. as a Research Associate at the Institute of Power Electronics and Control of Drives, Technical University of Darmstadt. His research focuses on advanced control and modulation techniques for grid-tied and multi-level converters, with an emphasis on minimizing total harmonic distortion (THD). He has authored several publications at International conferences. He is also the recipient of the Best Paper Award at IEEE ECCE Europe 2024.
