Shafy Musthafa holds a B.Sc in Electrical engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, India, and a M.Sc in Power Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Thiruchirappalli, India, which he completed in 2019 and 2022, respectively. Following his postgraduate studies, he served as an Associate Electrical Engineer at Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies, for two years.

Since December 2023, Shafy has been employed as a Research Associate in the Power Electronics and Control of Drives (LEA) group at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In this role, he is actively engaged in building the prototype system for a research project focused on Industry 4.0.
