Dominik Stolte received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, Germany. His Bachelor's thesis focused on the development of a radiation hardened motor driver, while his Master's thesis addressed the design of an intelligent load system.
He gained his degrees in 2021 and 2023 respective.
Before his academic career, he completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician at Deutsche Bahn and worked for several years as an assembly technician for overhead lines and as Master Electrician.
Additionally, he gained extensive practical experience as a developer for space electronics, specializing in power electronics and control theory. Since 2025, he is working as a research associate and Ph.D. candidate in the Power Electronics and Control of Drives (LEA) group at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
