Adeel Jamal received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, in 2014 and his M.Sc. in Power Engineering from the Technical University of Munich in 2018. Since May 2019, he has been affiliated with the Institute of Power Electronics and Control of Drives at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he has contributed to projects including StabLe, KoREV-II, and CyberStress. His work has focused on the model-based design and development of advanced controllers for grid-connected converters, particularly for two-level and three-level T-type ANPC configurations utilizing LC and LCL filter topologies.

Currently, He is pursuing his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Griepentrog. His doctoral research centers on advanced control and modulation techniques for grid-following converters, with a specific focus on identifying and mitigating sources of total harmonic distortion (THD). He has authored several publications presented at international conferences and was honored with the Best Paper Award at IEEE ECCE Europe 2024.
