Unified EMI Modeling and Prediction

Unified Frequency Domain EMI Modeling and Prediction for AC Motor Drives

This project outlines a new approach for a Unified Frequency Domain EMI Modeling and Prediction Framework that integrates Common Mode (CM), Differential Mode (DM), and Mixed Mode (MM) noises into a single comprehensive model. Traditional methods often require separate models for DM noise on the AC and DC sides, CM, and potentially an additional model for MM effects, leading to as many as four distinct models to estimate total EMI. Our aim is to build a unified model which simplifies this process, aiming to improve the precision of EMI predictions and compliance with EMC standards in electronic systems.
